Laser Settings for Corian / Solid Surface
Can you laser engrave Corian?
Yes — Corian and other acrylic-mineral solid surfaces engrave to a clean frosted white that's ideal for signage and inlay work. It engraves rather than cuts: the material is thick and mineral-loaded, beyond a hobby laser's cutting reach, but the engrave quality is superb.

✓ EngraveEngraves to a frosted white. Fill with paint or coloured epoxy for contrast. Too thick and mineral-loaded to cut on a hobby laser.
PrepPreparation & technique
Engrave, then fill the recess with paint or coloured epoxy and sand flush for a crisp two-tone inlay. Offcuts are often free from kitchen-worktop fabricators.
⚠ SafetyProduces fine mineral dust — extraction on, wipe the bed after. Standard precautions otherwise.
